Travel Food

I'm in Oklahoma for the first time ever this week. So far Tulsa is not too shabby. Good hotel, nice client, surprisingly well appointed airport (which may turn out to be a really good thing if the ice storm hits that they say is heading this way).

I have had three meals here so far. The first was in the Embassy Suites and was an excellent filet mignon. The second was BBQ at Bill Sim's - tasted good going down but absolutely killed me all the way until morning. And I just got back from this place - the Stonehorse Cafe

I had some good mussels in white wine and garlic. But the main event truly is worth mentioning: broiled pork belly in soft polenta with a lightly poached duck egg for extra creamy goodness. Wow! Definitely would recommend visiting the Stonehorse if you're ever in Tulsa, OK.
