Lyra, you're almost there

Lyra turns one year old on Tuesday. I'm actually going to be out of town until late that night but I know I'll just have to wake her up and give her a big hug when I get home. This has been hands down the best year of my life, and I'm pretty sure the best year of Lyra's life too. Masha is a wonderful mama, and Lyra is a great little girl. We're all just so darn happy! The breakfast brunch for the grown ups is this next weekend - Babushka Luba will be present, and so will many of our friends who welcomed Lyra home to Duncan Street on her fifth day back from the hospital. Can hardly wait to show her off again.
